Pierre Paulin for Artifort Mushroom Chair in Loro Piana Red Cashmere

Forsyth x St. Frank

From Artifort website: The idea for the Mushroom came to designer Pierre Paulin while he was watching women, shaped and sheathed in their swimming suits. He wanted the same thing for a seat. The inspiration can be found in the beautiful curves. Today, the seat is part of the permanent collection of MoMA. Soft, ample, inviting and supremely comfortable, the Mushroom is an eye-catching fauteuil that makes you just want to curl up and enjoy it to the full.
Our master upholsterers went down to the bones and completely restored this masterpiece. Reupholstering in the luxuriousness of Loro Piana red cashmere elevates this chair to supreme stardom.
